Dairy Distillery in Almonte is reporting an example of inter-industry cooperation in light of the COVID crisis.
The distillery normally makes Vodcow- which has been catching on as a local favourite.
Due to the medical emergency, they’ve switched up production to make hand sanitizer.
Because of demand, Dairy Distillery has doubled its intake of milk permeate to handle demand.
On twitter, Dairy Distillery thanks its suppliers, group lactalis and SD&G Milk Transport for product donation and trucking efforts.
It’s a gift that keeps on giving, as Renfrew County Paramedic Chief Mike Nolan is thanking Dairy Distillery- the now-sanitizer manufacturer has supplied the local crew with 1600 litres of product!
