Health officials in Ontario are predicting 80,000 cases of COVID-19 in the province by the end of the month.
The President and CEO of Public Health Ontario, Doctor Peter Donnelly, says we could see between 3,000 and 15,000 deaths due to COVID-19. Donnelly says they need people to stay home as much as possible to stop the spread of COVID-19.
The President and CEO of Ontario Health, Matthew Anderson, says our entire health care system will be pushed beyond capacity by the end of April to May if we do not practice social or physical distancing. Today (April 3rd) Ontario reported 462 more cases including 14 more deaths.
