One man is dead following an accident around 1:30 Wednesday morning. Quebec police say two snowmobilers were riding in the area of Collins Road in Otter Lake. Officials say one rider sped up to pass the other when they struck a tree. The 56 year old Ottawa resident was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead. The investigation continues but police say speed and alcohol may have been a factor.
