OFSAA is cancelled. St. Joseph’s Jr Varsity hockey team had won their way to the provincial championships again this year, but with the COVID 19 outbreak and precautions in place to slow it’s spread, the tournament was cancelled. Stacey McGregor, head coach of the team says the boys are disappointed, but they saw the writing on the wall.
Most sporting organizations cancelled their tournaments and championships, and now with a state of emergency declared, no public gatherings of more than 50 people are permitted in the province.
