The Town of Renfrew continues to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic. In a statement issued this afternoon (March 16th), Mayor Don Eady says they continue to engage in discussions with stakeholders and partners in the medical industry to stay informed.
All programming and the following facilities will be closed as of midnight tonight (March 16th) until April 5th.
- Ma-te-Way Activity Centre
- Recreation Centre
- Renfrew Public Library
The town says they will continue to assess the situation as it evolves. Renfrew will continue to maintain all other services with guidance from the Renfrew County and District Health Unit and other levels of
government.
Residents are asked to refrain from attending municipal facilities if you are sick and keep
a 2 meters or 6 feet distance from others. Residents are also encouraged to make payments and
transactions online when possible. Staff at any facility can be contacted by phone or e-mail for assistance or questions.
