The Township of Whitewater Region is closing the Astrolabe Arena and local libraries. The announcement comes after an emergency control group meeting was held this afternoon (March 13th) to discuss the evolving COVID-19 pandemic.
The town office will remain open, however local residents are encouraged to make payments online and contact staff by email or phone. Essential services such as the landfill, curbside pick-up and routine road maintenance are not impacted at this time.

The following events and services are impacted:
• The Mayor’s Business Breakfast, scheduled for March 24, 2020 is postponed.
• The Volunteer Appreciation Event being organized for National Volunteer Week
