The Town of Arnprior is monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely.
Extra precautions are being taken to assure a safe environment at the Nick Smith Centre.
Additional deep-cleanings are taking place, and often-touched surfaces are being more frequently cleaned.
Hand-sanitizer stations have been situated at seven key interfaces in the facility.
You will notice additional signage stressing the importance of handwashing and hygiene and you should follow those instructions, including washing your hands thoroughly for a minimum of 20 seconds.
If you are compelled to cough or sneeze, do so with a tissue- or into your elbow or sleeve.
These practises are to assure your own health and those of others.
If you feel sick, stay home; consult a health care provider.
The COVID-19 situation is evolving quickly, and the Town advises that should it be necessary to alter programming or operations it will issue updates should these become necessary.
