2020 is shaping up to be a rather promising year for the town of Renfrew. Mayor Don Eady says two rather exciting development projects are set to get underway this year.
Eady is optimistic these recent projects will result in a boost to the town’s ecomony and development.
Eady is confident once completed, the Boutique Hotel in the Post Office could see as many as 2000 visitors to the town each year. Since the hotel isn’t full service, they’ll have to eat locally and Eady is optimistic that will infuse some revenue into the community. In addition, the new apartments means significant revenue for the municipality by means of lot development and building fees.
