You’re invited to the Enchanted Charity Dinner Serving Generosity in White. This marks the 2nd year for the local fundraiser that gives you a chance to win a new vehicle and enjoy an evening of entertainment and great food. This year money raised will be split between the Columbus House, the Robbie Dean Centre, Saint Vincent de Paul and the Phoenix Centre.
Chair of the event, Doctor Fahamia Koudra, says last year they raised $66,000 for the Child Poverty Action Network in Renfrew County and gave away a brand new vehicle to a lucky resident from Renfrew. This year the driving sponsor of the event is Pembroke Hyundai who donated a 2020 Hyundai Kona Luxury edition that’s valued upwards of $35,000.
Koudra says only 2,250 tickets to win the vehicle were printed and they’re available at a number of locations for $50 each.
She adds the draw for the new vehicle will take place at the Enchanted Charity Dinner on July 10th at 9:30pm. Koudra says cocktail hour will start at 6:30pm, but otherwise they keep most of the details, including the location of the event a secret until the week before. Koudra says all the guests are told to dress in white.
Tickets for the dinner and entertainment portion of the event go on sale today (March 10th, 2020) and are $125 each. Ticket information is available by following the Enchanted Charity Dinner Serving Generosity in White Facebook page or online by searching EventBrite.

The Phoenix Centre will also benefit from funds raised.
