Randy Penney, CEO of Renfrew Victoria Hospital and St. Francis Memorial in Barry’s Bay, is saying good bye as he prepares for his retirement in June. After more than 30 years in service, the hospital is sending Penney out in style.
That’s Patti Dillabough, Executive Director of the hospital foundation. She says Penney has been a driving force at the hospital, and though his contributions are well known locally, Dillabough says he’s also had a global reach.
For those who may be unfamiliar with the a Roast, it’s a banquet where the guest of honor is subjected to good-natured ridicule. The event is slated for May 14 at the RCAF Wing in Renfrew. Cocktail hour is 5:30, dinner is at 6pm and tickets are 20 dollars each, they’re available at the foundation office and online. Details can be found on the foundation’s website.
