Friday’s (March 6) Women’s Fair is a celebration of International Women’s Day. The group, Ending Violence Against Women has put together a full agenda, starting at 9:30am. It all starts with coffee, courtesy of Engine House, several activities through the morning, followed by a light lunch. Jo Brooks tells us they’ve jam packed the afternoon with issues relevant to women today.
The event is free for women to attend and takes place upstairs at the Cobden Legion. Brooks says there’s a lift for those with accessibility challenges.
