The annual Renfrew County Relay for Life in support of the Canadian Cancer Society is still a few months away but it’s never too early to start planning. Lana Gorr with the local branch of the cancer society says registration is already open.
Funds raised locally will go to support the Wheels of Hope program which offers transportation to cancer patients in Renfrew County who need to get to appointments in Ottawa. As always, a portion of the proceeds will fund life-saving cancer research.
