The Ottawa Valley is in the path of an oncoming winter storm. Environment Canada says a Texas low is expected to track over Eastern Ontario beginning early Wednesday morning. In our region, the snow isn’t expected to begin until Wednesday afternoon and it could get heavy at times before it tapers off sometime Thursday. Estimates on snowfall accumulation range between 20 and 30 centimetres. Drivers are being told to be prepared for poor winter driving conditions and low visibility due to heavy snow and quickly accumulating snow, as well as blowing snow on Thursday.
