Lots of activities for all ages are being held this weekend at Horton Township’s Winter Carnival.
Saturday the 22nd has lots to do at the Horton Recreation Centre on Castleford road.
8 AM activities are Family shinny hockey and Horton’s Shanty breakfast.
Later in the day at 11 AM, families can enjoy lumberjack competitions, bale toss, family skating, and an open canteen.
At 10, there’ll be face painting and a kids magic show at 12:30.
The event finishes off at 3 PM with prizes and draws.
Families coming to the carnival are asked to dress safely for ice activities.
