The Renfrew County Real Estate Board says that home sales were up year over year in January. In the first month of 2020, 74 units were sold, an increase of six homes from January of 2019, or about 8.8%. The average price of homes sold in January 2020 was $241,899. There were also more new residential listings in January 2020 at 147, up 2.1 percent on a year-over-year basis. Active residential listings numbered 436 units at the end of January, down 24 percent from the end of January 2019. This was the lowest overall supply for the month in a decade.
