Another strike day for teachers and another day off for students. This time its members of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation and members of AEFO, the union representing french language teachers, that will hit the picket line.
At the Renfrew County District School Board, OSSTF represents secondary school teachers and office managers, as well as early childhood educators so the strike will affect not just high schools, but Junior and Senior Kindergarten.
The one day strike by french teachers is now a weekly thing and the strikes are province-wide.
Meanwhile, all four teachers unions in Ontario plan one massive province-wide strike next Friday.
The one-day strike will impact 1.4-million elementary students and more than 500,000 high school students.
