The Township of McNab-Braeside will adopt its proposed 2020 Budget on Tuesday February 18th.
Expenditures will defray planned road work, while an additional person has been added to the Township’s Recreation staff.
Mayor Tom Peckett says the Township’s ambitious plans to replace aging municipal buildings has resulted in the recent openings of the Murray Yantha Community Centre and the new Township Office, adjacent to each other on Russett Drive.
Residents will be looking at a 6.26 percent levy increase on the local share of their municipal tax bill.
Peckett says the increase in local taxes equates to $63.53 on a home assessed at $254 000.
