There is a lot to do in Douglas this weekend. The Douglas Frosty Fun winter carnival begins with a euchre night tonight (Thursday) starting at 6:30 pm. Tomorrow night (Friday, Feb. 7th), the weekend hockey tournament starts with a big screen movie at St. Michael’s School.
On Saturday, you can have breakfast at the rink canteen, the hockey tournament continues, there’s a kids mini skating rink, an indoor frosty fun and extreme fun zone at the school. Other events on Saturday include the cross-cut saw challenge, magic show, and fireworks behind the school at 7:30 pm to finish off the night.
There are more activities on Sunday with the hockey tournament finals, silent auction, euchre, youth broom ball, sleigh rides, family skate and roast beef dinner. All proceeds will go towards recreation improvements in Douglas.
