With filming in February and March, the streets of Almonte won’t need fake snow for the latest Christmas movie to be shot in town.
This one has A List talent – Mel Gibson, of Braveheart and Lethal Weapon fame, will portray Santa Claus.
The movie will be shot at various locations in the municipality of Mississippi Mills, and Town Council has already authorized the required road closures for the feature film titled “Fatman”.
Motorists should note, February 13th and 14th the closures will affect Ski Hill Road and Carbine Road in Pakenham Township as well as the Five Arches Bridge.
