Strike action by members of the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario will continue next week. There will be no class on two days next week at Renfrew County’s public elementary and secondary schools. Tuesday is a province-wide walk out by all 83,000 members of the union, then on Wednesday, there will be a one day strike affecting the Renfrew County District School Board and a handful of other boards in the province. This is in addition to the province-wide strike planned by ETFO members tomorrow (Thursday). Mediated talks between the province and union broke off last Friday with no new dates scheduled.
