The final Celebration of Life Day is in the books and the event raised nearly $20 000 for the Renfrew Victoria Hospital and Hospice Renfrew. Executive Director with the hospital foundation, Patti Dillabough, says this wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of Janet Robertson’s daughters.
The event started 16 years ago with a dance and grew into an entire day. Janet’s daughters, Alyssa, Amber and April took over five years ago after losing their mother to another battle with cancer. Thanks to Robertson and her daughters, care closer to home not only became a reality, but an improvement to quality of life for local cancer patients.
