Local communities are set to split almost six million dollars in funding from the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund (OCIF). Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke MPP John Yakabuski says the money is to help build and/or repair roads, bridges, and water and wastewater infrastructure. The allocations are as follows:
Town of Renfrew, $843,000,
Town of Arnprior, $571,000
The Township of Greater Madawaska, $50,000
McNab-Braeside, $55,000
Township of Horton, $85,000
Township of Laurentian Valley, $156,000
Township of Whitewater Region, $243,000
Bonnechere Valley, $267,000
Admaston-Bromley, $283,000
and the County of Renfrew, $1.358 million dollars
This funding is a part of Ontario’s approximately $200 million commitment to 424 Provincial communities.
