One Pembroke resident is becoming very familiar to Upper Ottawa Valley OPP.
Police say that last Wednesday they were called to a retail store in downtown Pembroke, where a shoplifter had made off with food items the Sunday previous. A suspect was charged January 22nd and given a March court date.
Three days later, an unwanted persons complaint at a Laurentian Valley Township residence saw a suspect apprehended with drugs on his person. The man was released, to appear in Pembroke court in March.
That same evening (January 25th), officers were called to a retail store on Pembroke Street East, where a shoplifter had taken an electronics item. A man was arrested that evening.
Upper Ottawa Valley OPP maintain the same 34 year-old Pembroke man is guilty of all of the infractions.
His rap sheet now includes two counts of theft under $5000, two counts of failure to comply with probation orders and one possession of a schedule one substance charge.
Following his third arrest, the man was held in custody for a bail hearing.
