Local wrestlers win gold

Two gold medals for members of the Renfrew Vipers Wrestling Club. Jolie Brisco and Savana Pinsent both took first in their respective weight classes at the 2020 Ontario Junior Championships held in London this past Saturday. Pinsent says for her, this was a big win.

Savana remained in London to compete in the Western Open the next day and again captured gold winning matches against Senior wrestlers two age groups above her. Jolie Brisco is now practicing for the remainder of the season with the Montreal club which has produced many World Champions coached by Olympic Coach Victor Zilderman and Multiple World and Olympic Medalist Martine Degrenier.
