The long-running Braeside Winter Carnival is coming up Saturday.
Recreation Programmer Karla Blemkie says events take place at the John A Gillies Rec Centre in Braeside.
Beginning at 9AM there will be a Blacksmith Demo of Hooks & Leaf Key Chains; simultaneous to that, from
9am-11am, you can take part in Public Skating.
From 1pm-2pm, there’s a Timbits Hockey Game, followed by an Arnprior Junior B Packers practice on the Outdoor Rink from 2pm-3pm.
If you want to make it a two-day event, on Sunday February 2nd there’s discounted skiing for all McNab/Braeside Residents at Calabogie Peaks.
Twenty percent off tickets for all McNab/Braeside residents that show valid I.D.
