Saturday, February 22nd is this year’s Coldest Night of the Year.
The family-friendly fundraising walk raises money for the homeless, hungry and vulnerable people who need help in the community.
The event is run by The Grind Transition House in Pembroke, which helps fundraise and support causes like this regularly.
David Studham of the The Grind explains there are too many people in this community who can’t afford to put food on the table.
On-site registration opens for the Coldest Night of The Year walk at 4 PM on February 22nd.
The walk starts at Wesley United Church and runs until 8 PM.
Registered guests will also get a light meal service at 6 PM.
