Renfrew County has officially opened its combined social services building on O’Brien Road. The public can access Ontario Works, Renfrew County housing and more within the facility. This merge of services was made possible by the provincial government, Renfrew county staff members and more. Renfrew County Warden Debbie Robinson says there are lots of services provided within the upgraded Renfrew County Place;
Renfrew County Place is still having changes made to fit Community Futures Development Corporation upstairs too. County members are also in the process of developing a similar facility in Pembroke, to improve access to social services.
