Charges have been laid in two serious domestic assaults. In the first case, Killaloe OPP were called to a home in South Algonquin township on January 9th. A 61 year old was arrested and charged with domestic assault, forcible confinement and sexual assault. Then on January 10th, police responded to a domestic related incident in Bonnechere Valley township. A 23 year old from the area has been charged with domestic assault, assault with a weapon and forcible confinement. In both cases, the names of the accused were withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
