A local hockey player will have a chance to show off his skills before NHL scouts. The roster for the 2020 Kubota CHL/NHL Top Prospects game has been released with Ottawa 67’s forward Jack Quinn making the cut. Quinn is originally from Cobden and this season for the 67’s has put up 43 points in 35 games including 26 goals and 17 assists. Hockey Prospects has the 18-year-old from Cobden pegged to go 19 overall in the upcoming draft, while other predictions could see Quinn fall to the third round. The Top Prospects game will be played January 16th in Hamilton, Ontario and features the best players from around the world. Many of the players that will be on the ice recently won gold at the World Hockey Junior Championships.
