Half a million dollars sounds like a great way to start off 2020, doesn’t it? The Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation’s Catch the Ace progressive jackpot is up for grabs tonight and it’s worth over 500 thousand dollars. The money raised will be used to upgrade an xray suite and 750 thousand is needed to complete the project. To date, the raffle has raised more than 800 thousand for the hospital. Patti Dillabough, the foundation’s Executive Director, says due to the overwhelming success they’ve decided to up the anti in hopes of purchasing additional equipment.
The foundation’s original goal was to raise 100 thousand dollars, a number they blew past weeks ago. Tickets are available across the Valley, a list of participating businesses can be found on the foundation’s website and facebook page. Tonight’s (Thursday) draw is at 8:30pm, Rocky Mountain House.
