It’s Christmas Eve and once again NORAD is ready to help kids keep track of St. Nick.
The North American Aerospace Defense Command is getting geared up for another year of tracking Santa as he travels the globe to let kids know exactly where he is and when they should get dreaming of sugar plums.
Major Mark Lazene spoke with us regarding this very important job and says it is an honour for the pilots who get to fly with Kris Kringle on his journey.
They do have trouble keeping up, but they have ways of keeping track of his location even if he does get too far ahead.
While NORAD does not get to speak with Santa and elves about the route he takes, they do find that he tries to visit homes between 9 p.m. and midnight.
You can track Santa on Christmas eve by phoning NORAD or going on their website.
You can also ask Alexa where Santa is and if you have ONSTAR in your vehicle, they are directed linked to NORAD as well.
