Less than 24-hours in jail for a man accused of robbing a customer leaving a pharmacy in Pembroke. 34-year-old Joel David Visutskie of Pembroke is facing charges of robbery with theft, disguise with intent and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. The accused was arrested on Monday (December 16th), had a bail hearing and was released the same day on a promise to appear in court on January 7th. The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP issued an arrest warrant for the accused after a robbery at a pharmacy on Pembroke Street East back on November 22nd. Following a short foot chase in the 200 block of Nelson Street on Monday morning, officers arrested and charged the accused.
