Shawville Hospital’s Obstetric unit to be closed until January 3rd

If you thought shutting down the Obstetrics Unit at Pontiac Hospital was an inconvenience before, you’re going to be a lot more put off with the news that obstetric services for moms about to give birth will not be available beginning today, and continuing until after the holidays, resuming January 3rd.

CISSS Outaouais says expectant mothers will be redirected to Gatineau Hospital during this period.
