Public Kindergarten classes and High School students across Renfrew County will be kept out of the classroom on Wednesday if a deal between the teacher’s unions and the province can’t be reached. The Renfrew County District School Board says that if an agreement is not reached by Wednesday, all secondary schools and all elementary kindergarten classes will be closed in order to ensure student safety. Kindergarten classes are affected by the OSSTF walk-out because all District elementary Early Childhood Educators are currently members of the OSSTF, along with all secondary teachers and all secondary office managers. Classes will resume on Thursday.
