Police will not be laying charges following a collision earlier this month. On Thursday, November 21 around 6pm, OPP responded to a single vehicle collision on Round Lake Road in Killaloe Hagarty Richards Township. Police say the 44 year old driver swerved to avoid hitting a deer and lost control of their vehicle. The North Algona Wilberforce resident was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Drivers are reminded to be vigilant of wildlife, scan ditches and drive with care, especially during the hours of dusk and dawn.
