The Town of Arnprior’s Ad Hoc Committee on Poverty and Homelessness is engaged in community consultation sessions to speak with local residents about poverty and homelessness in the Greater Arnprior area.
The first consultation was held Thursday (last night) at the Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church from 5-7PM.
The Town is pleased to have as its consultants the Monarch Park Group’s Karyn Dumble.
Lyn Smith, of the Child Poverty Action Network hopes other communities in the County will follow Arnprior’s lead.
(tag for AM use: Another consultation will be held today, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church on Baskin Drive.)
(PM use tag: The sessions will allow the Town to learn from valuable community feedback and lived experiences informing the Ad Hoc Committee on Poverty and Homelessness’ work, moving forward.)
