The Greater Madawaska Seniors Advisory Committee (SAC) has prepared a Resources Directory for the Township’s upper demographic.
Jim Libbey is the group’s vice president.
He says the initiative is, in effect, a reasonable facsimile (fak-sim-ill-ee) of something that had been done in a Northern Ontario community.
Libbey says about half of the Township’s population are classed as seniors, and they will be well-served by the new directory.
For now, the Seniors’ resource directory will be available on the Greater Madawaska website, and through a limited print run.
