The Calabogie and Area Food Bank has a new location and it needs to get the word out.
President, Judith Herweyer says the food bank moved back in July to the former Greater Madawaska Library in Calabogie, after years of being sponsored by a church on Mill Street.
Herweyer says the food bank doesn’t have a donation issue, noting the generosity of the community, but rather a PR issue, about its mission to serve the entire Greater Madawaska community, rather than just Calabogie.
It’s open every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 9 to 10 am.
