Arnprior’s Christmas Angel Program has been going for over a decade.
Kert and Kirsty Lavigne began the initiative when they realized the community didn’t have one.
Lavigne says all the gifts are distributed to kids locally, and the names are suggested by Child and Family Service of Renfrew County.
Everything the Arnprior Christmas Angel Program does is coordinated through social media.
This year, 101 children in Arnprior and McNab-Braeside have been adopted by the Angels, who have a $75 spending limit per child.
If you’d like to become involved in 2020, watch for an announcement next September on What’s Up Arnprior.
