The Surete du Quebec has arrested a Campbell’s Bay man in connection with a robbery that occurred Friday evening at a business on Leslie Street in the community.
Members from the MRC Pontiac Station attended the business and were told that a suspect had entered the store and demanded the contents of the cash register, then fled on foot.
The employee was not hurt.
Following the police investigation, officers attended a residence in Campbell’s Bay and arrested a 51 year-old man Sunday.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Campbell’s Bay today, and faces possible robbery charges.
