Valley athlete Austin Ingram is competing at the World Para Athletics Championships in Dubai, and sees action today.
Competitions in the middle eastern emirate began November 7th and end this coming Friday.
Ingram is one of 28 athletes representing Canada at the Track and Field championship event.

Sixteen athletes participated in this year’s Para Pan Games in Lima Peru, and thirteen took part in the 2017 World Championships.
The Dubai event is considered a dry-run for Tokyo 2020.
Petawawa’s Austin Ingram competes in the 100 metre dash in the T13 class as an athlete with a visual field of less than 20 degrees radius.
His coach is Julie Crouzat and Austin trains with Les Coureurs de Bois.
