A 25-year-old from Pembroke has suffered non-life threatening injuries from sustaining a fall from an abandoned building. On November 11th just after 10:00 pm the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP responded to a report of a distraught person on the roof of an abandoned factory on River Road in Pembroke. Officers tried to talk to the individual, but they suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a fall and were transported to hospital. The OPP has notified the Special Investigations Unit (SIU), which will now investigate.
