The Township of Admaston-Bromley has declined to support a resolution from the Municipality of Kingsville that expresses criticism of announced Health Care cuts in the areas of Public Health Units and land ambulance services, as well as hospitals and long-term care homes.
Mayor Michael Donohue, who is a Renfrew County representative on the Board of Health, says the criticisms are premature.
The announced consolidations in the number of health units and land ambulance authorities may follow a pattern demonstrated by the Doug Ford government whereby drastic cutbacks are announced, then public consultation happens and the measures are modified.
