Remembrance day is nearing and poppy sales continue. You can find boxes of the simple red flower in almost every store in town. According to Bruce Ferguson with the Royal Canadian Legion in Renfrew, the numbers so far are looking healthy.
Ferguson says all of the money raised in Renfrew stays in Renfrew.
Ferguson hopes to see everyone out on Monday, 11am at the cenotaph in Low Square for the annual Remembrance Day ceremony.
