10 year old Evaleigh McDonald is heading to Germany to compete as a tap dancer. The grade five student from Champlain Discovery School in Pembroke says this competition is about pursuing her passion.
Evaleigh, who trains with Stars in Motion, has the full support of her parents.
That’s Jessica McDonald and she says she found the competition on social media. She had her daughter audition and was pleasantly surprised when she was invited overseas to compete. She leaves November 24. The family is carrying the cost of the trip, but they have secured sponsorships from some local businesses to alleviate the financial pressure.
