Two local residents are facing charges following separate matters of alleged bail violations. According to the OPP they responded to a call in Renfrew on October 23, and though no details were shared on the investigation, police say they charged a 33 year old Whitewater Region man with three counts of failure to comply with a recognizance. In the meantime, OPP were conducting RIDE checks in Arnprior on October 25, a traffic stop resulted in charges laid against a 25 year old McNab Braeside man for obstructing a peace officer and two counts of failure to comply with conditions of an undertaking.
