Dinner En Blanc has been rebranded for the 2020 event. The launch party took place at Anthony’s restaurant in Pembroke on Friday night (Oct. 25th) where a cheque for $66,000 was presented to last year’s fundraising recipient the Renfrew County Child Poverty Action Network. This year the event has been rebranded as the Enchanted Charity Dinner: Serving Generosity in White. Chair of the event Doctor Fahamia Koudra says this year they will support four local organizations, the Columbus House, the Robbie Dean Family Counseling Centre, the food bank run by St. Vincent de Paul, and the Phoenix Centre.
Doctor Koudra says they’re very grateful for all the support last year including the Lapointe family for donating a brand new car to be raffled off in honour of their son Zachary. She adds Pembroke Hyundai has agreed to raffle off a brand new 2020 Hyundai Kona Luxury Edition. Doctor Koudra says tickets for the Enchanted Charity Dinner: Serving Generosity in White will be available soon.
She says the location of the dinner won’t be released until the week of the event which is taking place on July 10th.
