Police say get a handle on fraudsters before they get their hands on your hard-earned cash.
The CRA scam is back.
Fraudsters will call you up, pretending to work for the Canada Revenue Agency.
They will claim you owe a huge amount of back taxes and you’ll be arrested if you don’t pay up right away.
There are two scripts for the scam; they may ask you to use a money transfer company or your own bank to send them the cash; or, they may try to trick your banking information from you and then help themselves to your account.
