If you haven’t had the chance to take in an all candidates meeting yet, you still have time before the October 21st election. The Seniors Friendship Club is sponsoring a meet and greet with the candidates today between 1:30 and 3pm at the Deep River Community Church Hall. Next on the list, an all candidates debate is coming up in Pembroke tomorrow (Wednesday October 16th) at the Calvin United Church, sponsored by the Upper Ottawa Valley Chamber of Commerce, with doors opening at 6:00pm. Finally, you can meet the candidates at a gathering in McNab/Braeside on Thursday at the Braeside RA Centre. Doors open at 6:30pm. On the ballot this election: David Ainsworth of the People’s Party of Canada, Robert Cherrin of the Veterans Coalition Party of Canada, Independent candidates Dan Criger and Jonathan Davis, NDP nominee Eileen Jones-Whyte, Libertarian Stefan Klietsch, Independent Dheerendra Kumar, incumbent Cheryl Gallant of the Conservatives, Ruben Marini of the Liberals, and Ian Pineau of the Green Party.
