The federal election is less than a week away and advance voting is now over. Returning Officer for Renfrew Nipissing Pembroke, Robert Rantz, says the weekend kicked off with a heavy start but transitioned into a steady stream of voters.
Rantz says they saw an increase in advance voters of almost 20 percent over 2015. Voting day for the federal election is October 21st and the polls will be open from 9:30am to 9:30pm
